Photo to Cartoon Drawing Photoshop Image Effect

In this Free Online Photoshop CS tutorial we'll take a photo of someone and with Adobe Photoshop effects and filters turn it into a cartoon drawing. Here's what we'll be making: The first thing to do, is to open Adobe Photoshop. I'm currently sing Adobe Photoshop CS5, but this tutorial will work on most any version. Now upload the picture you will be editing. Try not to upload one with a complex background or foreground as it could hamper the effect somewhat. The photo above belongs to DeAtHBuTtErFly-stock and can be found here. Lets begin the project by adding a Poster Edges filter. Go to Filter > Artistic > Poster Edges and set all the values to 3. To finish the Cartoon Effect, go to Filter > Artistic > Cut Out.  -Set the Number of Leves to 5 -the Edge Simplicity to 5 -and the Edge Fidelity to 3 ...and we're DONE!   I want to thank DeAtHBuTtErFly-stock for the awesome photo.
